Happy 4th Birthday!

Yes, indeed. I bought my S21U 4 years ago and I am still using it. I regularly get 2+ days out of a full charge and I couldn't be happier with it. I keep it in a slim protective case and have a screen protector on it. It still looks brand new when I occasionally take it out of the case.

Until Samsung comes along with something significantly more improved than my S21U I will keep using it.

I can't believe the S21U is four years old already.

How the hell do you get two days out of one charge, especially on a four year old device? I don't get how anyone gets this much juice out of a phone on a single charge. Do you keep it on the lowest settings possible and barely use it?
I was lucky enough to get almost a full day back when I first purchased the device.

I have the fast charge settings turned off and I usually wait until the battery shows less than 15-20% before putting it on my wireless charging stand overnight. By the next morning it is back up to 100%. It is my belief that fast charging heats up the battery and wears it out more quickly.

I don't watch many videos or live TV on it or play games. It is primarily used for text and calls and an occasional internet search when I'm away from home. I also use Waze with it for navigation but it is plugged into a USB port whenever I do that and that helps with keeping the battery charged.

Have you found a replacement yet for yours?

Alright, that makes sense now.

And nope. I haven't sadly. I don't know if I will. It may be a better route to just upgrade to a newer device, unless I can get one for under 500 from Samsung.

I was looking at an S22 Ultra recently on Swappa in mint condition for under 500. But... I don't really particularly trust devices on there... Any circumstance I've ever bought a used or refurbished device anywhere besides directly from Samsung, I've had issues sooner or later. In all actuality, I could probably just keep my Note 20 Ultra for now. If I wanted to keep it long term, I could always replace the screen. Probably cost under 300 bucks.

I definitely like having my device with an SD card slot in it. I have a 512gb SD card in it right now, and it's awesome. But, we shall see.

I bought it when it was new and it's still my phone today! The only issue I have is storage. I desperately miss the SD card option!
