Texts to Watch?

I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Watch Pro 5. I'm getting spam texts to my watch. The watch is connected to my S22 Ultra. However the spam text doesn't show on my phone. Texts sent to my cell also show on my Watch. But texts sent to my watch only show on my watch. My watch has its own number but it doesn't accept calls on that number. When I try to text to the watch number the texts don't go through. How can I block a number for a spam text on my Watch? TIA
