I have been given an old tablet used for commercual use displaying gardening equipment. Just a screen with an info prompt that automatically starts when powered on. I can’t get out of that prompt and use the tablet for other things. My goal is to use it as a touch remote for my CNC machine. My question is how do I remove autostart from startup. There is no buttons on the tablet except power button. And a reset pinhole. It is a rockship rk3188 and I got no access to any other apps or settings on the thing.

Welcome to Android Central! You probably won't find it useful since it probably has a custom ROM to run that stuff.

From this spec sheet, it looks like the device requires a secure USB key to update the content: https://www.univideo.de/assets/downloads/POSTAB_Datenblatt_en.pdf

On top of that, the device runs KitKat at best (Android 4.4), which is no longer supported, and probably won't be compatible with most modern apps and even modern websites. You can keep searching for possible ways to use it, but I'm afraid it may be futile. Good luck!
