I played around with it some more just a bit ago, and it all seems a bit odd to me. Seems I can only ever have an app in full screen mode, or if in split screen mode then only the google maps app will ever be in the "main" panel closest to driver (I am NA, driver on left). For the "secondary" panels (for me over off to the right), seems I can now only ever have the "for you music suggestion widget/app" (which I have no idea where that came from or how to disable it ) or VLC, and I can basically scroll left/right between those two there in that secondary panel. Interesting, I could have sworn that when I first got the new AA look, I had the "for you" thingy at top right and my VLC at bottom right (that is, two secondary panels). That I would have preferred vs having to scroll between available secondary apps in a single secondary app panel (when in split screen mode). I wonder if things are dependent on what is implemented in each individual app in terms of AA compatibility, for where (for example) the phone may or may not be able to serve those up as basically remote widgets into what each different AA head unit also has for capabilities. My head unit's base widget capabilities for example (regardless of AA or Apple Car Play for phone projection), seems to only have a similar three split screen/panel landscape arrangement (main at left near driver, secondary top right and secondary bottom right). I assume the base vehicle head unit arrangement for
@mustang7757, for example, might be portrait.
