My daughter's S24 Plus, originally with AT&T, we ported her phone to T-Mobile, for some reason, this is the only phone that has not received One UI 7. Any idea why?

AT&T branded phones, even if unlocked after-the-fact, still only get their updates while on the AT&T network.

No way around that. No amount of "CSC" changing with SamFW or whatever will change that. T-Mobile can't help either.

If you want updates, any updates including security updates, you will have to learn how to flash it yourself with Odin. There are folks on this forum who can help with that.

I will add that, in the past, once you flash an update yourself, some had started to get updates OTA from Samsung as if it's factory unlocked afterwards. But that was a few years ago. I do not know if that's still the case.

That's what I thought would happen when porting a carrier phone over to another. Thanks for the clarification.

Dumb question, since this is an AT&T Phone, and now on T-Mobile. Do I download the TMO firmware and flash?

This is my first time doing Frija, and I want to do it correctly.

Model - SM-S926U ---> downloading SM-S926U1 (for Samsung Unlock)
CSC: TMB
IME/SN: xxxxxxxx

Is this the correct firmware I am downloading?

Correct now with Odin use Prince comsey (Patch B) latest one
Extract the firmware zip once downloaded to computer and use the 4 slots in Odin with corresponding firmware with CSC firmware use home in Odin slot then choose start

Use known good cable for data transfer's and put device in download mode

This was an intense learning process. Finally got it to work. For some reason, Odin Prince Comsy shut itself down when I tried to use it.

Anyway, I got this to work. Using the latest ODIN 3 version not ODIN Prince Comsy

Thanks everyone!! Especially Mustang.

Will this automatically get OTA updates in the future, or do I have to continue to perform ODIN?
