OneUI 7 Rolling out All

Wow, people
It will smooth it out but comes at a price with some of the visuals
You're not lying. People complain about lack of app optimization for tablets which never bothered me but when things aren't even scaled properly like here at the OS level? That's a problem.

This is hideous and inconsistent with the S23U and S25U. Not because it's a tablet interface it's not, it looks like they copied and pasted a budget phones UI on place.

Samsung is falling hard. I dont even know what the next step is for who would replace them as a replacement brand.

It's not that bad but yeah some things need more tweaking, I hear some going One Plus maybe take a look

First thing that immediately stood out, quick settings. It's scaled to phones.
Next which I'm not against, they kept the theme the nice gray it was for the buttons and quick settings. Phones have this eye searing white. Sure you can theme it except the lock screen. Samsung just seems to be scrambling.

They are 100% not sticking to their update promise. Not referring strictly to the tablet because that wasn't in the promise but as a whole.

One Plus, RedMagic, Xiaomi, etc.. all seem to have users with bricked devices constantly. Maybe I'll go back to Google in a few years. Who knows but only for the unlockable bootloader.

U S Wifi
Tab S8 Ultra

Update information
• One Ul version: 7.0
• Android version: 15
◦ Version: X900(9DYDC / X900OM9DYDC/
• Size: 4649.05 MB
• Security patch level: Aoril 1. 2095

Let the tweaking begin ... ;)☺️

I'll have to clear the cache partition. My quick panel sometimes appears on the right side, sometimes in the middle. 😆
However, the notification panel is consistent.

The forum needs a facepalm reaction emoji. Another point for Samsung..

You're signature is fitting and a good substitute

Did you combine or separate the quick panel?

We definitely need a nice face palm. I'd have an indent on my virtual face from using it so much. 😄

I decided to combined the quick panel on my tablet.

The s8 Ultra screen is wide enough that when the panel launched, with the default settings, it looked funny all the way to the right screen edge. It felt awkward.
Ofcourse, notification panel appeared in the middle. Now the quick panel is jumping back & forth, but I haven't had time to see if there's a pattern to why that behavior.

It's always some... well you understand! 😅

I'm curious why too. Mine is centered and shrunken, literally almost as wide as my S25U, I placed it overtop my tablet
