An errant leaf makes it indoors - alas, if it were the only one! And after all that raking and binning and schlepping - King Arthur's Buttermilk Waffles (first time trying their recipe). Really, nice an crispy and light inside.

If you will recall, I commented on liking clouds. But that's only when they don't produce hail and a down pour when unexpected. Yesterday's bike ride lasted all of about a mile, if that. Cut short by absolutely atrocious weather.

REDO today.

Back to a favorite and it seems the Great Blue Heron thinks so, too.

I often feel the same way haaaaa like in the " post your food " thread I can't help but wonder am I the only one who eats here I'd post some photos but sorry I only have the Pixel Fold but once I get the new Samsung in a few months I'll be posting there! Maybe you will too??

Oh, by the way, those almost sunset shots were taken at 2:50 in the afternoon. So much for sun in Seattle during Fall and Winter. In Winter the sun barely rises above the windshield, so a visor is almost always required when driving in some southerly direction.

I actually preferred the Original Pixel Fold's length/width but like this one's thinness!

It was just a quickie. I was not going to stress over what needed or did not need more time. Just toss in oil, salt and pepper and roast at 425 till it looked done.
