How do I disable the screen when my Samsung A36 is in my pocket? It is constantly making phone calls, etc. from my pocket. There is a setting named "Accidental touch protection" which is supposed to do that, but it's not working. Also, how do I disable the "double tap" feature to turn on my screen? I only want to push the side button to wake it up.

The only way I know of to disable the screen is to lock the phone.
My phone is set so the side button instantly locks it and then double tap the screen to wake and unlock it.

If you go to settings>advanced features under motion & gestures you can turn off double tap.
As for accidental touches you can turn off the bottom toggle on the lock screen to prevent dialing out by accident
