It's been long enough - some input on screen protectors?

Easy for an expert like you with steady hands. I'd have to get high! LOL I bought a film protector (flex glass)approved for S22U but now the fingerprint detector isn't dependable and I have to press too hard. I would discard it but I wasted so much $ for a smudge magnet I am embarrassed to tear it off... yet.

Steady hands are not an important requirement except when dropping the protector onto the phone and inside the jig. And that is easy and quick. It does take some care when cleaning the darn phone naked from the case since it is as slippery as a frozen bar of butter; but quick and easy to install.
Sill working ok, this AM.

Went to Best Buy yesterday and got the Zagg put on. I didn't really wanna pay that much but I guess I'm paying for the free replacements if anything goes wrong with it. 🤷🏽

Mine is a fingerprint magnet.
It also makes it difficult to use fingerprint to open phone or apps.

Your fingerprint is working perfect?

For my right thumb; yes. My right index sometimes requires two hits to open. However, 99% of the time I will be using my right thumb.

It's funny you mention that. When I check the fingerprints to see if they're working properly, everything seems to go fine. When unlocking the phone or signing into apps, it's a pain. I'm still trying to feel it out. When I'm at home or driving, I have Bixby Routines running that I just swipe to unlock. So its not too bad. I'd rather have that problem than micro scratches. Can't stand them.

I'm the same way... trouble is I hate greasy smudges on my phone screen as well. When this flex glass thing starts to peel off I'm going bare on the screen unless something better comes along.

I got the Zagg film screen protector at Best Buy as well. It's already got some bubbles in the upper and lower left corners that I was able to push out myself, and the fingerprint sensor doesn't read as well as it did without the Zagg. But I know that my fingers are always very dry. If I wet my thumb, it reads it immediately.

I'm using an amfilm glass protector. Had the first one installed perfectly, no bubbles or anything but noticed a dead pixel and had to send the phone back. Installed the second one and have one bubble at the top I couldn't get rid of. :( Fingerprint scanner works fine.

I use spigen neoflex .I have used them on my note 20.simple to apply and last.fps is great and no problem with sp. I have not had much luck in past using glass screen protector’s on curved screen.

Both my thumb prints work great with the WSD on my S22U, right index for some reason is hit and miss. I would rescan the the right index; but the phone is going back.

Are you right handed? Perhaps your right index finger is used more than your other fingers and gets drier. That's what happens to me only with that finger, and I'm right handed.

If I put lotion on my hands the right index finger does work.

Index is no drier than thumb. Just strange. Even just now, with the WSD removed, getting ready to factory reset, the index took a few hits. Like I said, I hardly ever use it so no problem.

Whitestone Dome Glass is my favorite - outstanding quality!

I just installed my WDG. Pretty easy. Turned out perfect. Talk about going without a screen protector... I had to have my cracked screen on my Note 10+ replaced at UbreakIfix. They suggested applying the Liquid Glass screen protector. Since it gave a one year $200 insurance on breakage I said sure. After two years of abuse, I only had two small scratches on my screen when I traded it in for my S22U. I looked through my receipts before picking up my S22U and saw the Liquid Glass receipt. I looked it up. I thought it was some kind of film or glass protector. LG is a liquid that is applied to the screen. I worked for Corning for over ten years. IMO, LG is snake oil. There is no way it and penetrate glass. That is why you can store strong acids in glass without any reaction.

I'm looking for the best film screen protector from Amazon that's under $15. Don't really care for the tempered glass protector.
